Why Denly Exists
I grew up in a split household before smartphones existed. I was the kid caught in the middle of missed pickups, confused schedules, and things that fell through the cracks that no child should have to worry about.
That pattern never left me. So I looked at what tools existed for co-parents — and found an industry charging $100–200/year for basic coordination that costs almost nothing to actually run.
That's why I'm building Denly — a pay-what-you-can co-parenting app so no family gets priced out of the tools that keep their kids from falling through the cracks. I'm a software engineer by trade, building this nights and weekends because I believe coordination between two homes shouldn't be a luxury.
